The objective of this invention is to provide a method for estimating, in the frequency domain, deconvolution operators for removing spurious resonant coupling responses from the cross-line and the vertical seismic signal components in OBC surveys. The purpose is to balance the spectral response of the respective signal component in amplitude and phase in a manner consistent with the field geometry.

La présente invention permet d'offrir une méthode utilisée pour estimer, dans le domaine fréquentiel, les opérateurs de déconvolution pour éliminer les réponses parasites de couplage de résonance des composants de signal sismique transversaux et verticaux en sondages sismiques au moyen d'un câble sur le fond océanique. Le but visé est d'équilibrer la réponse spectrale de la composante du signal correspondant en amplitude et en phase de manière consistante avec la géométrie du terrain.
