ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A bandsaw wheel for use in a horizontal bandsaw includes a peripheral surface about which, in use, a bandsaw blade may extend. The peripheral surface has thereon means defining a plurality of annular resilient members. These members are spaced apart axially from one another and extend around the peripheral surface of the wheel and are radially outwardly directed relative thereto. The annular members are arranged to contact the bandsaw blade during use and to hold same clear of contact with said peripheral surface thereby to reduce vibration of the bandsaw and slippage thereof on the bandsaw wheel during operation.
