ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Horizontal continuous casting process and apparatus for continuously producing bolts (billets), rolled plates (cakes), and bands (strips) with a vessel receiving molten metal from a furnace, from which vessel the metal is withdrawn. The amount of molten metal required for drawing is guided in the direction of the mold associated with the system while simultaneous- ly being induction heated.
