A horologe, such as a watch or clock, includes a body (23) housing a horological mechanism (12). An outer transparent crystal (30) and inner transparent cover (28) is attached to the non-removable portion (26) of the rim (24) above the outer surface (32). A thin, substantially flat removable face (40) is adapted for insertion in and removal from the space between the outer surface (32) and the inner transparent cover (28) below the hand (18).
