"The Equalizer" horse stand is a lightweight stand to stabilize and support a horse while his feet are being trimmed. In this invention, the stand can be used to stabilize horses (from 13 to 18 hands high) while their hoof wall is nipped. The stand can be converted by removing the telescoping cuff insert, and placing the horses hoof on the centre beam, enabling the handler to file the hoof edge smooth. This device prevents back strain to the handler when he/she is trimming a horses feet, and saves the expense of hiring a ferrier.
