ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A horseshoe includes a horseshoe base which corre- sponds to the actual configuration of a horse's hoof. The base is mounted on the hoof so as to leave a space between a sole of the hoof and an upper surface of the base which faces the sole surface when the base is installed on the hoof. A filler material is filled in the space so as to support the hoof on the base when the latter is installed on the hoof.
