ABSTRACT A horticultural spray device includes a container for soluble fertilizer in dry form, and a spray head providing a metered pressurized flow of water into the container, the contents of the container being dispensed into a water flow through the spray head at a metered rate, the spray head providing for pressurization of the container to prevent collapsing thereof under negative pressure in the event that the metered pressurized flow of water to the container is obstructed.
