ABSTRACT A hose clamp assembly comprising hose clamp means comprising at least three clamp segments, a coupling sleeve to extend within the bore of a hose and means for securing said clamp segments together round the coupling sleeve to form a clamp assembly. Each of the segments has its respective inwardly facing clamping surface for contacting the hose. The clamping surfaces are each provided with a series of inwardly facing ridges spaced longitudinally of one another, said ridges extending round the circumference of the clamp assembly. The coupling sleeve having an outwardly facing clamping surface for contacting the hose, the clamping surface being provided with at least two grooves extending round the circumference of the coupling sleeve. The grooves are spaced longitudinally of one another for alignment with the inwardly facing ridges on the annular clamp.
