ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An elongated easily flexed convoluted hose construction is provided. It includes an elongated elastomeric strip and has first and second connecting portions defining opposite side edge portions thereof. The strip is disposed or wound in a helical pattern with the first and second connecting portions connected together to define the hose con- struction having alternating crests and troughs and the strip when viewed in cross section has a free or unrestrained outwardly convex U-shaped portion of substantial vertical height and uniform wall thickness which defines the crests. The hose construction is easily flexed from a rectilinear configuration upon applying a flexing force thereagainst due to its unrestrained U-shaped portion and uniform wall thickness. More- over, the hose construction is resilient and returns substantially to its rectilinear configuration upon removal of the flexing force.
