ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The hot bulb ignition head for a device for firing rough ceramics, particularly bricks, serves for the intermittent delivery of solid fuel, using compressed air. In the hot bulb ignition head there occurs an explosion ejecting the granular solid fuel, particularly coal, into the firing chamber. Said ignition head comprises a cylindrical head portion with a baffle plate at the outlet end, forming several outlet openings. The size of the outlet openings can be adapted to different firing conditions by insertion pieces.
