TITLE OF THE INVENTION HOT DIPPING ZINC BASE COATING MATERIAL HAVING HIGH CORROSION RESISTIVITY ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A hot dipping zinc base coating material which consists essentially of from 0.1 to 2.0 percent titanium, from 0.1 to 3.0 percent manganese, from 0.1 to 1.6 percent aluminum, and the balance zinc and inevitable impurities. The plating layer obtained by the zinc base coating material exhibits very satisfactory corrosion resistivity even in a severe corrosive environment. The zinc base coating material may further contain from 0 01 to 0.4 percent silicon, to thereby form a plating layer which is substantially free from peeling from the plated metal matrix and cracks which would otherwise occur during bending of the plated material.
