Abstract of the Disclosure A hot fuel gas generator for an internal combustion engin simultaneously vaporizes gasoline and water in a multi-chambered heated pressure vessel having built in regulators for controlling pressure and volume and delivers the resulting superheated steam and gaseous fuel to the internal combustion engine downstream from the usual carburator. A single device operating at a very high temperature, for example 1600° F., is used for the simultaneous vaporizatin of the fuel and water to develop desirable working pressure and volume. The high temperature steam and gaseous fuel positions and fuel molecules at the greatest degree of separation from each other providing the greatest opportunity for contact of the oxygen, the reacting species in the ggaceous condition as chemical reations occur only between particles at the atomic or molecular level and it is necessary for the reacting species to be in actual contact at the time of reaction. The hout fuel gas produced therefore enables complete combustion and the elimination of the atmospheric pollutants common in the operation of internal combustion engines and increases the energy obtained from the fuel, said genarator comprising a multi-chambered pressure vassel defining said chambers, conduirs for simultansously continuously infecting known amounts of gasoline and water into a first one of said chambers and valvescontrolling the amounts therof, heating element in said first chamber for generating and maintaining surface temperatures between 1600° F. and 1800° F., one of said portitions being between said first chamber and a second one of said chambers and having an opeining therin, a second one of said portitions being between said second one of said chambers and a third one of daid chambers and having a secondary opening therein, a valve element in said secondary opening arranged for movement partially into said second chamber, a diaphragm in said third chamber, an extension of said second valve element secured to said diaphragm for movement thereby and means normally blasing said valve element toward closed relation with said secondary opening, conduits establishing communication between said third chamber and said inlet manifold. - 2 -
