ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A tool for the release of presfiure in a hot automobile radiator comprises elongated tongs having jaws at one end for gripping the radiator cap and handgrips at the other end. The tool may be manipulated to loosen the cap from a position removed from the radiator so as to reduce the risk of personal injury due to a sudden Ralph of pressure when the cap is loosened.
