A method for controlling water overflow in a hot tub via a ballast tank and small eductor. A hole cut out of the hot tub at the desired water level allows water to flow to a calibrated ballast tank. Overflowed water is returned to the hot tub through tubing and an eductor by using the motive force of water coming from the already present hot tub recirculation/jet pump.
