The invention concerns a household appliance (11) in contact with an aqueous medium, in particular a smoothing iron, comprising a water circuit passing at least partially through a section (1) containing a disincrustant (3), characterised in that the disincrustant is obtained by cross-linking or hardening of an organosilic system with disincrustant activity comprising: an ingredient (A) consisting in a polyorganosiloxane composition, hardenable into a silicon elastomer at room temperature (23 DEG C) or by the effect of a temperature higher than room temperature, at least partially cross-linked or not, permeable to water vapour; and an ingredient (B), which is hydrophilic and osmotically active, consisting in an active disincrustant substance (B1) on its own or combined with an auxiliary hydrophilic agent (B2), dispersed homogeneously in the silicon ingredient (A), further characterised in that the active disincrustant substance is released in course of time, in an aqueous medium, out of the silicon ingredient (A) hardened into elastomer, according to kinetics substantially of order zero.
Image Appareil électroménager (11) en contact avec un milieu aqueux, notamment fer à repasser, comportant un circuit d'eau traversant au moins partiellement un compartiment (1) contenant un agent antitartre (3), caractérisé en ce que l'agent antitartre est obtenu par réticulation ou durcissement d'un système organosilicique à action antitartre comprenant: un ingrédient (A) consistant dans une composition polyorganosiloxane, durcissable en un élastomère silicone à température ambiante (23 °C) ou sous l'effet d'une température supérieure à la température ambiante, au moins partiellement réticulée ou non, perméable à la vapeur d'eau, et un ingrédient (B), qui est hydrophile et osmotiquement actif, consistant en une matière active antitartre (B1) prise seule ou en association avec un agent auxiliaire hydrophile (B2), dispersé de façon homogène au sein de l'ingrédient silicone (A), avec la particularité selon laquelle la matière active antitartre est libérée au cours du temps, dans un milieu aqueux, hors de l'ingrédient silicone (A) durci en élastomère, selon une cinétique sensiblement d'ordre zéro.
