ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE There is provided a housing assembly for electrical communication or measuring apparatus. The housing assembly comprises side walls, a base wall and an upper wall and four corner posts. Each of the corner posts has two end portions and a web portion extending therebetween, the cross-sectional area of respective end portions being considerably greater than the cross-sectional area of the web portion. Further, the length of each post is such that at least part of each end portion projects vertically beyond an associated side wall. Arranged on opposite ends of each corner post is a recess and a matching projection respectively, by means of which one housing can be firmly stacked on top of the other.
