The invention relates to a housing for accommodating at least one fuel cell stack (16; 116; 216; 316; 416), comprisign a first housing shell (10; 110; 210; 310; 410) and a second housing shell (12; 112; 212; 312; 412), wherein the first and the second housing shells may be tightened against each other by means of a fastening device such that the fuel cell stack to be accommodated is loaded in the stacking direction thereof by means of the elastic forces of the fastening device.
