ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: A hub assembly for securing a plurality of core seg- ments including in combination a hub member having a first core engaging member, a hub ring engaging the hub member and having a second core engaging member spaced from the first core engaging member, latch means carried by one of the hub member and hub ring and movable between latched and unlatched positions. The latch means in the latched position is operatively engaged with the other of the hub member and hub ring and prevents separation of the hub member and hub ring, and the latch means in the unlatched position is operatively disengaged from the other of the hub member and hub ring and permits separation of the hub member and hub ring.
