A human body support structure (26) which provides a crossed series of cords (28, 32) mounted within an enclosed space (24) formed by a rigid frame (20). Mounted on each of the cords are pins (30) with a longitudinal axis of the pins being oriented perpendicular to the cords. Located between directly adjacent pins is a spacer (44) with each spacer being mounted on a cord. The cords are slightly stretchable assuming a taut relationship when mounted relative to the frame. A human body is to be placed against and supported on the upper surface of the pins, as shown in Figure 1.

L'invention concerne une structure de support de corps humain qui comprend une série croisée de cordes montées à l'intérieur d'un espace fermé formé par un cadre rigide. Des broches sont montées à chacune des cordes, un axe longitudinal des broches étant orienté perpendiculairement aux cordes. Un espaceur se trouve entre des broches directement adjacentes, chaque espaceur étant monté à une corde. Lesdites cordes sont légèrement étirables, ce qui aboutit sur une relation de raideur, lorsqu'elles sont montées par rapport au cadre. Un corps humain peut être placé contre la surface supérieure des broches et soutenu par cette surface, tel que cela est présenté à la figure 1.
