2085352 9119506 PCTABS00008 Therapeutic uses of bone marrow derived suppressor factor (BDSF) in the field of immunosuppressive agents is disclosed. BDSF may be used to suppress antibody including anti-antibody responses, mixed lymphocyte reactions, mitogen responses, activation by phorbol esters and calcium ionophores, formation of human T-cell colonies, formation of myeloid colonies and proliferation of tumor cells. BDSF therefore plays a broad role in regulation of autoimmune responses, transplantation reactions, tumor cell growth, and other lymphoid myeloid cell developments.
