Novel human polynucleotide and polypeptide sequences are disclosed that share sequence similarity with animal gamma-amino Sutyric acid (GABA) receptor subunits and particularly rho3 subunits thereof. Theses sequences can be used in therapeutic, diagnostic, and pharmacogenomic applications.
