A human powered track-belt vehicle particularly adapted to snowy ground. The vehicle has in combination a frame having a rear part and a front part, a wheel, or a ski, mounted on the front part the frame, at least a driving wheel pivotally mounted to the rear part of the frame, at least a pair of pedal to drive the driving wheel. The vehicle is characterized in that the driving wheel comprises a rim provided with a circular groove, an idler wheel which comprises a rim having also a circular groove, and a track-belt mounted on the rims of both the driving wheel and the idler wheel. The track-belt is provided with an inner face and an outer tread, the inner face is provided on all its length with guiding strip fitting in the groove of the rim of the driving wheel and in the groove of the rim of the idler wheel. Also provided on the vehicle is at least one arm on which is mounted on a pivoting manner the idler wheel. The arm is mounted on the frame and allows an alignment between the idler wheel and the driving wheel. The vehicle also comprises a device to put the track-belt under tension. The invention also relates to a kit to convert a standard bicycle into said vehicle and to a track-belt for such vehicle.
