Immortalized non-tumorigenic or tumorigenic human prostatic epithelial and fibroblast cell lines and derivatives thereof, containing DNA of a hybrid virus between adenovirus 12, and simian virus 40. The cell lines are useful for research on causes, treatment and prevention of prostate cancer, benign prostatic hyperplasia, male infertility, birth defects, aging and assessment of environmental toxic agents.

Lignées cellulaires prostatiques épithéliales et fibroblastiques humaines, ces lignées étant immortalisées et éventuellement tumorigènes, et leurs dérivés, renfermant l'ADN d'un virus hybride dérivé de l'adénovirus 12 et du virus Simien SV 40. Ces lignées cellulaires sont utilisables dans la recherche des causes, des traitements et de la prophylaxie du cancer de la prostate, de l'hyperplasie prostatique bénigne, de la stérilité masculine, des malformations congénitales et du vieillissement, ainsi que dans l'évaluation des agents toxiques présents dans le milieu ambiant.
