Cloning of human and mouse homologues of S. pombe Rad1 and S. cerevisiae Rad17. HRAD1 in particular useful in identifying and obtaining molecules for control of cellular proliferation, and sensitization of cells to radiotherapy. Hrad1 interaction with Proliferating Cell Nuclear Antigen (PCNA) provides basis for assays for agents of therapeutic potential.
L'invention concerne le clonage des homologues de S. pombe Rad1 et S. cerevisiae Rad17 chez l'homme et la souris. Le HRAD1 est particulièrement utile pour identifier et obtenir des molécules permettant de contrôler la prolifération cellulaire, et la sensibilisation des cellules à la radiothérapie. Des dosages peuvent être effectués à partir de l'interaction du HRad1 avec un antigène nucléaire des cellules de prolifération afin de rechercher des agents présentant un potentiel thérapeutique.
