Problems to be solved: to provide human type-I membrane proteins and human cDNAs encoding said proteins. Means to solve the problems: a protein containing the amino acid sequence represented by Sequence No. 1 and a DNA encoding said proteins exemplified by the cDNA containing the base sequence represented by Sequence No. 2. Said protein can be provided by expressing the human cDNA encoding the human type-I membrane protein and recombinants of this human cDNA.
