-11- Humidifier Abstract The humidifier is comprised of a substantially rectilinear container having a water reservoir in the base thereof and aligned rectilinear openings in the major front and rear surfaces. The interior surfaces of the top and bottom walls of the container are provided with parallel spaced apart grooves for removably supporting a plurality of evaporator plates of absorbent material in parallel spaced apart relation to each other perpen- dicular to the aligned apertures in the front and rear surfaces. The plates have a configuration to facilitate their insertion and removal through the rear aperture and guide grooves are provided on the interior surface of the front wall beneath the aperture. A hook and quick release device are provided for detachably supporting the humidifier from a standard wall type hot air register.
