A B S T R A C T A corrosion resistant float controlled valve assembly for a humidi- fier, including means providing a water inlet nozzle. A valve element support member integrally formed of synthetic plastic material pivoted about a trans- verse axis is provided with an upstanding tongue adapted to receive a resi- lient valve element for cooperation with the nozzle. An integral synthetic plastic float arm is pivoted on the member about a spaced parallel axis. Interconnecting means join said arm and said member to provide for pivoted support about the first axis for moving the element to close the nozzle.
