The invention relates to the field of hunting weapon ammunition. The inventive ammunition comprises a bullet (2) of the same or smaller calibre than the weapon and of the type that comprises an essentially-rigid bullet body (6) and a deformable part. According to the invention, the deformable part comprises an essentially-cylindrical expansion ring (7), the rear part of which is mounted to the front part of the bullet body (6). The invention is suitable for small, medium and large calibre ammunition.
