2075626 9112060 PCTABS00006 A holder for a hurdle boom meant to support a boom (10), said holder consists of a gliding part (1) which is sleeve-like and mounted round a pillar and can be moved vertically on said pillar, and a support part (2) on which the end of the boom (10) can be supported. The sleeve-like gliding part has been broken off at one point and the locking apparatus for gliding part is formed by a tightening apparatus, which at the break point is pulling the opposite edges of the gliding part towards each other causing that the gliding part presses against the pillar.
