A radio frequency identification device (RFID) includes a non-conductive first substrate, an integrated circuit device mounted to the carrier substrate and having at least one conductive terminal and a patterned conductive coating applied to the non- 5 conductive substrate and in contact with the at least one conductive terminal. The patterned conductive coating includes a polymeric matrix and a conductive particulate filler, the polymeric matrix being capable of undergoing at least 2% deformation elastically and without significant change in the conductive properties of the patterned conductive coating serving as an antenna. The RFID can be fabricated by affixing an IC 0 chip to a surface of a substrate having a patterned conductive coating and applying a bridging coating to connect terminals of the IC chip to the antenna.

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'identification de fréquence radio (RFID) comprenant un premier substrat non conducteur, un système de circuit intégré, monté sur le substrat porteur et ayant au moins une borne conductrice et un revêtement structuré qui est appliqué sur le substrat non conducteur et se trouve en contact avec la borne conductrice (au moins au nombre de une). Le revêtement conducteur structuré comprend une matrice polymère et une charge particulaire conductrice, la matrice polymère étant en mesure de subir une déformation élastique d'au moins 2 % et sans changement significatif des propriétés conductrices du revêtement conducteur structuré faisant office d'antenne. Le RFID peut être préfabriqué par fixation d'une puce à circuit intégré sur une surface d'un substrat et comportant un revêtement conducteur structuré et par application d'un revêtement de pontage pour relier les bornes de la puce à circuit intégré, à l'antenne.
