A hybrid cord for reinforcing rubber (1) which comprises strands (2) having a high modulus of elasticity comprising a PBO fiber or the like arranged in the center portion thereof and, arranged around them, strands (3) having a low modulus of elasticity comprising a glass fiber or the like; and a rubber product containing the hybrid cord for reinforcing rubber (1). The hybrid cord has satisfactory strength, and is excellent in the resistance to flex fatigue, in the adhesion with rubber and in dimensional stability.

L'invention concerne une corde hybride destinée à renforcer du caoutchouc (1) comprenant des brins (2) de module d'élasticité élevé constitués de fibres de PBO, ou analogue, agencés dans la portion centrale de la corde et, agencés autour de ces brins, des brins (3) de module d'élasticité faible constitués de fibres de verre, ou analogue. Elle concerne aussi un produit caoutchouté contenant la corde hybride destinée à renforcer le caoutchouc (1). Cette corde hybride possède une résistance satisfaisante, une très bonne résistance au pliage, une très bonne adhérence sur le caoutchouc et une très bonne stabilité dimensionnelle.
