A hybrid crank-operated casement window including a pivotable sash assembly and a stationary frame having a structural portion and a weather-proofing portion is described herein. The structural portion providing structural stability to the stationary frame and the weather-proofing portion is non-degradable by changing weather conditions and weather-proofs a junction between the stationary frame and a wall into which the casement window is installed. The sash assembly includes a window pane, a window pane enclosing case and a window pane sealing clip which seals a junction between the window pane and the window pane enclosing case. An advantage of the hybrid crank-operated casement window of the present invention is the increase size of window pane for a given window opening in a wall.

Le volet renferme une vitre, un enchâssement pour la vitre et une agrafe scellant la jonction de la vitre avec son enchâssement. La fenêtre hybride à battants télescopiques a pour avantage d'accroître la surface vitrée d'une fenêtre percée dans un mur.
