A hybrid drive assembly (1) for a vehicle having at least one drive wheel (2),the drive assembly including an internal combustion engine (3); a transmission unit (5) interposed between a drive shaft (4) of the internal combustion engine (3) and a propeller shaft (6) connected angularly to the drive wheel (2), and in turn including a continuously variable transmission (7) having a drive pulley (10) connected angularly to the drive shaft (4) and a driven pulley (11), and a centrifugal clutch (8) having a hub (20) connected to the driven pulley, and a driven bell (26) connected to the propeller shaft (6); and an electric machine (32) having a rotor (35) integral with the bell (26) of the centrifugal clutch (8) . The drive assembly (1) is controlled by a control unit (38), in response to a number of input signals (Ss, Sa, Sf), in a number of operating modes including an all-combustion propulsion mode, an all- electric propulsion mode, a first hybrid propulsion mode wherein the internal combustion engine (3) and the electric machine (32) are connected in series, and a second hybrid propulsion mode wherein the internal combustion engine (3) and the electric machine (32) are connected in parallel.

L'invention concerne un ensemble de transmission hybride (1) pour véhicule possédant au moins une roue motrice (2). Cet ensemble de transmission comprend un moteur à combustion interne (3), une unité de transmission (5) qui est interposée entre un arbre de transmission (4) du moteur à combustion interne (3) et un arbre à cardan (6) rattaché au niveau angulaire à la roue motrice (2) et qui comporte à son tour une transmission variable en continu (7) dotée d'une poulie d'entraînement (10) reliée au niveau angulaire à l'arbre de transmission (4) et d'une poulie entraînée (11), et un embrayage centrifuge (8) pourvu d'un moyeu (20) rattaché à la poulie entraînée, et une cloche entraînée (26) reliée à l'arbre à cardan (6). L'ensemble de transmission comprend également une machine électrique (32) pourvue d'un rotor (35) solidaire de la cloche (26) de l'embrayage centrifuge (8). Cet ensemble de transmission (1) est commandé par une unité de commande (38), en réponse à un certain nombre de signaux d'entrée (Ss, Sa, Sf), dans un certain nombre de modes de fonctionnement englobant un mode de propulsion pour toute combustion, un mode de propulsion entièrement électrique, un premier mode de propulsion hybride, au cours duquel le moteur à combustion interne (3) et la machine électrique (32) sont reliés en série et un second mode de propulsion hybride, au cours duquel le moteur de combustion interne (3) et la machine électrique (32) sont reliés en parallèle.
