Abstract The invention relates to impedance converter circuits for use in filters etc. The circuit of the invention has input and earth terminals, several impedance elements connected in series between the terminals, and a pair of operational amplifiers having output terminals, inverting input terminals and non-inverting input terminals, these terminals being coupled to the impedance elements. A negative feedback capacitor is connected between the output and inverting input terminals of at least one of the amplifiers. The capacitor has a capacitance value which stabilizes the operation of the converter circuit which is otherwise susceptible to instability due to the occurrence of stray capacitances. The circuit is thus capable of stable operation even when stray capacitances have developed in the hybrid IC.
