A single CDMA radio access network (fig. 1, 12) is used in conjunction with both a GSM core (14) and an IS-41 core (15) using a hybrid MSC (24) to support mobile stations (18, 20) having subscriptions in either the GSM core (18) or IS-41 core (20) without requiring more than a single subscription.
