GBS antigens GBS-80 and Spb1 are expressed in a single polypeptide chain, preferably with Spb1 upstream of GBS-80. Thus the invention provides a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence NH2-W-X-L-Y-Z-CO2H, wherein: X is a Spb1 sequence; L is an optional linker; Y is a GBS-80 sequence; W is an optional N-terminal sequence; and Z is an optional C-terminal sequence.
