The present inventive subject matter is drawn to a hybrid ultra reliable power generating system for supplying continuous reliable power comprising: a primary power unit producing electric power that is supplied to a load. Also a secondary power unit is included in the form of a closed cycle vapor turbine (CCVT) system which is heated by rejected heat of the primary power unit, wherein the vaporizer of the CCVT is heated by rejected heat of the primary power unit. In an example of a particular embodiment of the present invention, the present inventive subject matter is drawn to an apparatus that combines a fuel efficient primary power generation unit system such as a high temperature fuel cell with a secondary power unit that is a very high reliability closed cycle vapor turbine (CCVT) which operates according to a Rankine cycle using organic working fluid that is capable of producing approximately 5 - 15% of the electric power that is produced by the primary power unit and which is heated by rejected heat of the primary power unit, wherein working fluid in the vaporizer of the CCVT is heated by heat rejected by the primary power unit.
L'invention concerne un système générateur d'énergie hybride haute fiabilité permettant d'acheminer une énergie fiable continue. Ce système comprend : une unité d'alimentation primaire produisant une énergie électrique qui est acheminée vers une charge ; une unité d'alimentation secondaire sous la forme d'un système de turbine à vapeur à cycle fermé (TVCF), chauffée par la chaleur émise par l'unité d'alimentation primaire, le vaporisateur de la TVCF étant chauffé par la chaleur émise par l'unité d'alimentation primaire. Dans un mode de réalisation, l'invention concerne un appareil combinant un système unité génératrice primaire efficace à combustible, tel qu'une pile à combustible haute température, et une unité d'alimentation secondaire qui est une turbine à vapeur à cycle fermé (TVCF) haute fiabilité fonctionnant selon un cycle de Rankine, au moyen d'un fluide de travail organique pouvant produire entre environ 5 et 15 % de l'énergie électrique produite par l'unité d'alimentation primaire, chauffé par la chaleur émise par l'unité d'alimentation primaire, le fluide de travail contenu dans le vaporisateur de la TVCF étant chauffé par la chaleur émise par l'unité d'alimentation primaire.
