A twin fabric hybrid forming section (1) for paper making machine is described in which: the pitch of the fabric support elements (70), (71), (73), (72) decreases progressively in the machine direction; the level of vacuum applied to the forming fabrics (2), (4) through the dewatering boxes (53), (54), (10) AND (55) increases in the machine direction; the two forming fabrics (2), (4) together with the stock sandwiched between them traverse at least four separate and distinct vacuum zones within the forming section as they proceed in the machine direction; the level of vacuum applied to the last of the at least four separate and distinct vacuum zones is higher than the level of vacuum applied to the first of the separate and distinct vacuum zones; the level of vacuum applied to the at least four separate and distinct vacuum zones follows a preselected profile; and the dewatering boxes (53), (54), (10) AND (55) carrying the fabric support elements (70), (71), (73), (72) are arranged so that the fabric support elements (70), (71), (73), (72) are located in an alternating sequence on the machine sides of both of the forming fabrics (2), (4).

L'invention concerne un dispositif de formation hybride à double toile (1) destiné à une machine à fabriquer le papier. Selon l'invention, l'écart entre les éléments de support de toiles (70, 71, 73, 72) diminue progressivement dans le sens machine, le niveau de vide appliqué sur les toiles de formation (2, 4) au moyen d'unités de déshydratation (53, 54, 10 et 55) augmente dans le sens machine, les deux toiles de formation (2, 4), conjointement avec la pâte prise en sandwich entre elles, traversent au moins quatre zones de vide séparées et distinctes dans le dispositif de formation lors d'un déplacement dans le sens machine, le niveau de vide appliqué sur les dernières de ces zones de vide séparées et distinctes est supérieur au niveau de vide appliqué sur les premières de ces zones de vide séparées et distinctes, le niveau de vide appliqué sur lesdites zones de vide suit un profil présélectionné, et les unités de déshydratation (53, 54, 10 et 55) supportant les éléments de support de toiles (70, 71, 73,,72) sont disposées de sorte que les éléments de support de toiles (70, 71, 73, 72) se trouvent dans une séquence alternante sur les côtés machine des deux toiles de formation (2, 4).
