ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A reversible liquid/solid phase change compo- sitions comprising hydrated MgCl2 or Mg(NO3)2/MgC12 and one or more of Ba(OH)2, Sr(OH)2, CaO, SrC03, BaO, Ca(OH)2, Mg(OH)2, MgO, Na3AlF6 or CaC204, added to the compositions in an effective amount to suppress super- cooling of the liquid phase of the compositions.
