An actuator for a hydraulically operable impact machine which includes a machine body, a piston drive chamber in the body, a stepped piston which is reciprocal in the body and drive chamber, a sleeve which surrounds a step in the piston to define, on the inside of the sleeve, between the sleeve and a portion of the piston, a piston return chamber with a forward end of the sleeve and a seat in the body defining an exhaust valve which opens to the outside of the body with the rear end of the sleeve and a seat in the body defining an inlet valve for feeding hydraulic fluid under pressure from the drive chamber into the return chamber, and a seal bearing, in which the piston is reciprocable, between the drive and return chambers characterised in that the actuator includes a pusher which is reciprocally located in the body for movement between a first position in which it is engaged with the sleeve to close the return chamber inlet valve and open the exhaust valve and a second position in which it is held clear of the valve sleeve by fluid pressure in the drive chamber and means biasing the pusher to its first position of operation when the machine drive chamber is vented to atmosphere.
Un actionneur destiné à l'opération d'une machine à chocs hydraulique est constitué du bâti de la machine, de pistons, d'un piston à gradins alternatif qui va et vient entre le bâti et le mécanisme d'entraînement, d'un manchon qui recouvre l'un des pistons de manière à réserver, à l'intérieur du manchon et entre ce dernier et une partie du piston, un espace pour le retour du piston. L'extrémité avant du manchon et le siège du bâti entourent une soupape d'échappement qui s'ouvre sur l'extérieur du bâti. L'extrémité arrière du manchon et le siège du bâti recèlent une soupape d'admission destinée au passage sous pression du liquide hydraulique du moteur à l'espace de retour du piston. Un joint de roulement réciproque, situé entre le moteur et l'espace de retour, se caractérise par le fait que l'actionneur comporte un poussoir réciproque situé dans le bâti de manière qu'il puisse se déplacer entre une première position dans laquelle il engage le manchon afin de fermer la soupape d'admission de l'espace de retour et ouvrir la soupape d'échappement, et une deuxième position dans laquelle il est dégagé du manchon par la pression du liquide en provenance du mécanisme d'entraînement, ce qui renvoie le poussoir à sa première position d'opération lorsque le liquide du mécanisme d'entraînement de la machine est dispersé dans l'atmosphère.
