HYDRAULIC PIT JACK ABSTRACT A hydraulic pit jack comprising a housing which is supported on wheels for moving the housing over a pair of rails which are secured in a pit. A pair of hydraulic cylidners are supported vertically in the housing in transverse alignment to one another. A hydraulic oil reservoir is also provided in the housing and has a hydraulic pump therein. A motor is provided for driving the pump. A pair of four-way valves is connected in series with the pump, and are also connected to the cylinders for operating the axial displacement of a cylinder rod associated with a respective one of the cylinder. The cylinder rods each have a free rod end which protrudes from the housing when the cylinder rods are fully retracted. A ram adaptor is removably connect- able to the free rod end.
