A hydraulic self-adjusting device for clutch control cables. This device comprises a main housing (CP), where one of the ends thereof is provided with an end cap (TC) and the other, rear, end is formed with an extension (1) for attachment to the pressure plate fork. The main housing (CP) has a channel (5) which through a regulator (TR) places the two chambers (c1,c2) in communication determining the position of the piston and contains a liquid; an adjusting rod (VR) the end of which projecting to the outside is attached to the cable linking with the clutch pedal, while the other end is attached to the piston formed by a shut-off valve (VC); and a control spring (RR) which permanently pulls against the said cable through the rod (VR). The portion of the rod (VR) contained in the main housing (CP) compensates in length the wear of the clutch plate lining. Applicable in the automobile industry.
