ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A hydraulic stabilizing system in an appliance having casters movable about a floor, a drain pump, and a water valve to be connected to a pressurized tap water faucet. There is provided an inlet conduit having a unicoupled at one end for attachment to the pressurized tap water aucet and the other end to the water valve in the appliance. There is also provided an outlet conduit form the pump of the appliance. At the base of the appliance there is at least one lifting device which includes a stationary housing which is secured to the base of the appliance, a piston movable upwardly and downwardly within the housing and a bellows within the piston. A conduit connects the bellows to the inlet conduit whereby subjecting the system to pressurized water form the faucet will cause the bellows to expand and move the piston in a downwardly direction to contact the floor and stabilize the appliance.
