A uniquely designed hydraulic cylinder adapted to a conventional oil well, bottom hole pump. This cylinder employs separate confined hydraulic fluid supply for the gland port and the end port which allows the hydraulic plunger to actuate the BHP plunger and traveling valve by alternately powering the port supplies until they have achieved their full travel. The automatic repetitive action of the actuator is achieved with pressure sensitive supply relays that reverse the port flow when the pump has reached its' top stroke or bottom stroke and causes the hydraulic supply to pressure up. These controls are mounted on the surface hydraulic supply.
