ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A hydraulic transmission-energy saver has a rotor with concentric annular grooves having fixed blocks therein, turning in a two-part stator. Valves direct oil pressure to the grooves, and push the fixed blocks so as to turn the rotor in a clock-wise or a counter clock-wise direction. Oil pressure directed to the outer grooves works as the low gear and as the reverse gear. The inner grooves or the ones that are closer to the centre, are the high gear. The number and size of the grooves depends on the number of gears required. A pressure accumulator oil tank, and a non-pressure oil storage tank and pump are also provided.
