Le procédé est caractérisé en ce que le traitement de liage par jets d'eau est effectué sur une nappe, constituée d'un mélange ho- mogène de fibres non liées de pâtes de bois et de fibres synthétiques, formée par voie aéraulique. L'invention vise également un nontissé lié par jets d'eau constitué d'un mélange homogène de fibres papetières à rai- son d'au moins 70% et de fibres synthétiques à raison d'au plus 30%, caractérisé en ce que les fibres synthétiques sont bicompo- santes et ont été thermoliées.
