ABSTRACT A hydraulically dampened rubber bushing includes two liquid filled chamber pairs, wherein the chambers of the chamber pairs are spaced apart in damping directions, and wherein the chambers of each chamber pair are connected through a separate damping passages and are filled with liquid. The damping passages and the total bulge elasticities of the walls of the chambers are matched so that the volumes o liquid in the damping passage are induced to resonantly reciprocate at different selected frequencies. A much larger range of selected frequencies may be dampened with such a rubber bushing.
