HYDRO-PLANETARY POWER DIVISION SYSTEM Abstract of the Invention A system for dividing rotary power to two or more output shafts includes planetary cluster cages that are associated with the output shafts and which are interconnected by a hydraulic circuit. In instances where the output shafts rotate at speeds different from one another, a portion of the power from the source is directed through the hydraulic circuit to cause rotation of spiders carrying plane- tary gears within the cluster cages coupling the output shafts to a primary driveshaft. The power division system is modular in nature in that the hydro-planetary cluster cages and associated drive axles can be easily added or deleted as desired.
