A hydro-power generation system for use in con- junction with a water treatment system is disclosed. The embod- iments of the hydro-power generation system include an impeller rotatably positioned in a housing. The impeller is rotatably cou- pled with a generator. When water flows through the water treat- ment system, water flows to the hydro-power generation system and acts on the impeller causing rotation thereof. The rotation of the impeller results in the generation of electricity for the water treatment system by the generator. Other embodiments of the hy- dro-power generation system include a rotor rotatably positioned in a conduit through which water flows. The flowing water causes the rotor to rotate. The rotor operatively cooperates with a sur- rounding stator. As the rotor rotates within the stator electricity is generated for the water treatment system.

L'invention concerne un système de production d'énergie hydraulique utilisé conjointement avec un système de traitement des eaux. Les modes de réalisation de ce système de production d'énergie hydraulique font intervenir une roue montée rotative dans un boîtier. Cette roue est couplée rotative à un générateur. Lorsque de l'eau s'écoule dans ce système de traitement des eaux, elle passe par le système de production d'énergie hydraulique et agit sur la roue de façon à lui imprimer un mouvement rotatoire. La rotation de cette roue permet au générateur de produire de l'électricité pour ce système de traitement des eaux. D'autre modes de réalisation de ce système de production d'énergie hydraulique font intervenir un rotor monté rotatif dans un conduit à travers lequel l'eau s'écoule. Cet écoulement d'eau fait tourner le rotor, qui à son tour coopère fonctionnellement avec un stator l'entourant. La rotation dudit rotor à l'intérieur du stator permet de produire de l'électricité pour ce système de traitement des eaux.
