The invention relates to processes for the synthesis of aryl or alkene borates which comprises reacting: (i) an olefinic compound having a halogen or halogen- like substituent in a vinylic substitution position, or (ii) an aromatic ring having a halogen or halogen-like substituent in a ring substitution position, with a disubstituted monohydroborane in the presence of a Group 8-11 metal catalyst. The invention also relates to the use of these borates in coupling reactions. The invention further relates to certain disubstituted monohydroboranes and aryl or alkene borates.
L'invention concerne des processus de synthèse de borates d'aryle ou d'alcène qui consistent à faire réagir (i) un composé oléfinique possédant un halogène ou similaire dans une position de substitution vinylique ou (ii) un noyau aromatique comportant un élément de substitution en position de substitution du noyau, avec un monohydroborane disubstitué en présence d'un catalyseur à base d'un métal des groupes 8 à 11. L'invention concerne aussi l'utilisation de ces borates dans des réactions de couplage. Elle concerne enfin certains monohydroboranes disubstitués ainsi que des borates d'aryle ou d'alcène.
